It is not rare in present times to find individuals asking questions that are essentially spiritual in nature: “What do I want to do with the rest of my life? What is my purpose? What is my true work? Have I accomplished what I set out to do? Where do I go from here? Finding answers to these is indeed critical to striking a balance between work, community and spiritual needs.
Anjaneya Foundation provides a forum and an opportunity to individuals from every walk of life to come together and discuss issues that are essentially spiritual in nature. These sessions are held under the umbrella of ‘Satsang’ – an ancient tradition from the East, which continues in modern times. ‘Sat’ – means ‘Truth’ in Sanskrit language and ‘Sang’ – comes from the word ‘Sangh’, which put together implies like-minded people getting together to deliberate and contemplate upon ‘Truth’.
Anjaneya Foundation holds regular satsangs in the community, amongst professionals, students, and individuals from different walks of life. The ‘Satsang’ duration is usually for an hour or two and includes guided meditation, brief spiritual insight by the facilitator followed by an interactive session.
Admission to the satsangs is free of cost. However, any contribution made is gracefully accepted and put to use in the community initiatives that the Foundation is involved in.
